ZBHT "Zetto Benkei" 15oz Selvedge Denim - High Tapered Fit

- The Zetto Benkei denim from Tanuki is a follow-up to the brand's popular Zetto fabric renown for it's low-tension weave and irregular-slub surface texture. This iteration features a dark beige weft, offering a warm tinted tone to the fabric. Produced through a painstakingly slow weave, up until a few years ago three shuttle looms had the capability to manufacture the fabric. However, now two of them have fallen into disrepair, leaving only a single loom in the world that can weave the denim. Pre-washed for a softer feel and to eliminate shrinkage.
- 15oz one-wash Japanese selvedge denim
- Low tension, Indigo warp - beige weft fabric
- Tanuki's High Tapered fit has a high rise with a roomy top block and a strong taper through the leg
- "Ni" (二) logo stitching at back pocket - the Japanese character for the number two and a symbol representing tradition and change
- Custom engraved Tanuki buttons and hardware
- Back pocket rivets
- Enlarged front pockets for easier use; herringbone pocket bags
- Hidden coin pocket selvedge
- Custom vegetable tanned leather patch
- Blue and white selvedge
- Blue interior inseam thread
- 100% cotton
