The Shinigami Selvedge from Naked & Famous makes use of a burly 18oz fabric, custom woven in Japan. Using slub yarns that vary in thickness throughout, the fabric is woven at low-tension, adding to the irregularity, giving it an almost handwoven quality. The yarns are sulfur dyed, and due to their size irregularities, fade at different rates, revealing a beautiful spectrum of grey and black tones as the denim ages. The jacket boasts a powerful assortment of texture throughout and comes equipped with heavyweight metallic hardware and an extra-large vegetable tanned leather patch.
