- The new Uguisu denim from Samurai makes use of a blend of American, Australian, and Brazilian cottons and is woven at low tension to create a high slub 17oz fabric. The fabric is dyed a soft, faded green as a reproduction of vintage British army clothing. The denim takes its name from the Japanese songbird whose song heralds the beginning of Spring.
