- Returning for the first time since 2022, the Asagi Selvedge Denim pushes the boundaries of Pure Blue Japan’s extensive denim catalog. Made using their signature 16.5oz slub selvedge denim, the jeans feature a unique multi-layer dye process: the indigo warp yarns are sulfur-dyed with a blue-jadeite pigment and woven with a sulfur-dyed black weft, resulting in a rich and distinctive color. With wear, the jeans reveal a varied, high-contrast fade that highlights the fabric’s incredible slub texture and grain. Finished with classic Pure Blue Japan construction and exclusive collaboration details, including a custom leather patch and a Blue Owl insignia embroidered in the style of PBJ’s signature indigofera leaf.
