- The Extra Slub Series from Pure Blue Japan is made using proprietary 17.5oz selvedge denim with an extraordinary surface texture. Similar to other styles from PBJ's catalogue, the Extra Slub comes woven in small batches using a low-tension shuttle loom in combination with a slow weaving technique creating the unique slub texture and consistency the brand is renown for. Finished with custom nickel buttons, deerskin natural leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery.
